Seguin Island and Cape Meares

A collection of photographs of two lighthouses on two coasts  - Seguin Island Lighthouse off the coast of Maine coast and Cape Meares Lighthouse on the coast of Oregon.  The Fresnel iens each makes for interesting photography. 

Seguin Island photographs are digital from our wander to Maine in 2008, while those from Cape Meares are some 20 years earlier and are scans of slides.  The folks at Cape Meares have reminded me that the lighthouse is much improved with no rust now in evidence!

Photographs from this collection are used to by the website Fyddeye as in a diectory of maritime historical sites.  The Sequin Lighthouse is listed here and the Cape Meares lighthouse here.
